Google Analytics configuration is an essential step for every website
If you want to know what is happening on your website, how users are navigating it and if they are performing actions that are important to you – Google Analytics setup is absolutely required. Even if you’re not running a marketing campaign you definitely want to make sure your website is performing its functions and how many users are using it.

How I get started depends on several factors:
- Is the website already up and running? If yes – I need the website address so I can check what is on it, how it works, what I think is worth measuring. If the site is just in the plans – we have to deal with it differently. Usually, mock-ups, description of functionality and functions that the website will perform can be useful.
- Was there already an implementation? If yes – to check the existing implementation I need access to Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager accounts.
- Are there any additional or particularly important requirements. Every website is different, so it’s important that we define priorities from the start.
- Do you need other tags/tools in addition to Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics.
Once these 4 points have been determined – I do a basic audit of the site and/or current settings. I then send you a pricing information and a timeframe in which I could deliver the service. After signing the contract I get down to work. The service ends with creating of documentation – what was done and how it was done.
