When is an advertising campaign or traffic audit necessary?
An ad campaign audit comes useful if you don’t quite know how to interpret the results and want to know if it’s going well. Perhaps you have suspicions that some of the traffic looks like bot traffic and you need an expert opinion. Or maybe the agency sends inaccurate reports and you want an independent opinion.
What does an ad campaign audit look like and what is the end result?
To perform an audit, I need access to Google Analytics – to see the results of the campaign. I also need to know what activities have been running recently and what, if any, suspicions or concerns you have or what you want to check. Once I’ve given you permission I look at the data and analyse it. There is also an option where instead of access I receive the indicated reports, but this method of cooperation is always much more time-consuming, which will also generate a higher cost. It is also less effective.
